0Do this every morning and watch your kidneys recover
Hello everyone, my name is Katherine and this is 00kidney!
Welcome to our journey together to a better kidney health!
In today’s video I’m going to show you 3 INCREDIBLY POWERFUL MORNING HABITS you will need no more than 10 minutes to develop that can give you a HUGE BOOST IN KIDNEY HEALTH!
I’m telling you this because I’ve been working with people suffering from kidney problems for 7 years
and I’ve met several PATIENTS that after battling for a long time were finally able to find a way to lower their creatinine QUICK.
What they did is taking control of their health trough the right habits.
Today I’ll show you the most powerful morning habits to beat kidney problems!
Starting from the breakfast!

First step, eat an alkaline breakfast.
If you want to help your kidneys improve, start by taking care of your acid alkaline balance every morning.
They say that Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, why not make it the healthiest too?
So, find an acidic food you usually eat and replace it with a healthy, alkaline one.
To download the Acid / Alkaline Food Chart right click and download
You may see here that many of the most acidic foods we eat regularly are breakfast staples.
If you take a look at this table, the most alkaline foods are all on the right side, while the acidic ones are on the left.
For example, coffee is really acidic.
And it becomes even more acidic if you drink it with sugar or you eat pastries and sweets.
Or fruit juices. I hate fruit juices with a passion. They’re one of the unhealthiest foods actually marketed as healthy.
And as you can see, they’re also very acid forming.
Not a great way for your kidneys to start the day, right?
But why is eating alkaline so important for your kidneys?
Just like removing toxins, removing acid is something impaired kidneys will have hard times doing.
When your kidneys cannot remove this excess acid well enough, it starts building up.
And you will know when this happens.
Symptoms of excess acid in the body include fatigue and tiredness, but also headaches and nausea.
You really don’t want more acidity in your body than your kidneys can process, if you don’t want to damage them.
So, what can we replace coffee, pastries and fruit juice with?
If we take a look at this table, we may see that many of the most alkaline foods are vegetables.
Now, I’m not telling you to drink a kale and celery smoothie for breakfast every day.
It may work for a while, but if you want to win the battle for your kidney health, you have to be consistent.
Luckily for us, there are some excellent alkaline fruits that could make an excellent breakfast.
First of all,
try lemon water.
It’s my absolute favorite way of starting the day.
Contrary to the belief that citrus fruits are highly acidic and would have an acidic effect on the body, they are among the most alkaline forming fruits.
Actually, you can see that lemon is on the rightmost part of the table.
I’ve also uploaded this slide on my website, Link is in description if you want to download it.
Now, lemon in particular is also known to help in detoxifying the system.
This is why some people like to squeeze a fresh, organic lemon in a glass of warm water and drink it first thing in the morning.
Also, drink an herbal tea instead of coffee.
That would be a nice way of replacing an acidic beverage with an alkaline one.
Green tea for example is an excellent beverage for your kidneys, we can see it’s one of the most alkaline items on this table.
And it also comes with some health benefits: studies have linked green tea to a lower risk of heart disease and cancer.
Yes, green tea is especially good for your heart and that makes it great for your kidneys too.
Also, consider adding some healthy nuts to your breakfast, such as peanuts and almonds.
If eaten in moderation, these foods can be really healthy.
Eating almonds in particular is a very effective way of fighting high blood pressure and cholesterol.
Also try some seasonal fruits, such as grapes, very healthy and alkaline, but also blueberries and pears.
An underrated, but very healthy option is Pomegranate
This incredibly healthy superfood, in season right now, is not just very alkaline for the body, it also has a unique property.
This fruit is so full of antioxidants, vitamins and phytochemicals that just eating it in small amounts daily can positively impact the health of people with kidney problems.
This is what a recent study on hemodialysis patients found out.
Patients had a small amount of pomegranate every day and their blood pressure was reduced at the point that they were able to take fewer blood pressure medications.
Wouldn’t that be a great way to start the day?
So, that’s our alkaline breakfast.
It will only take some minutes of your day – but the results are going to be amazing on the long run.
These healthy fruits have several benefits, including their fiber content.
Another way fiber can help is by improving the health of your gut – and a healthy gut microbiome is crucial for people with kidney problems.
And a lot of people overlook their gut health, so, let’s see the best way of making sure this doesn’t describe you
Second step, take care of your gut health.
This is maybe the most important thing you can do every morning to help your kidneys repair.
And it’s taking care of your gut microbiome.
I’m talking about the trillions of microorganisms that live in your gut and that your body and kidneys absolutely need for immune function, heart health, weight control and many other aspects of health.
Now, these precious microorganisms live in an incredibly delicate balance, really easily compromised.
If you have been taking medications, antibiotics, but also if you have gone through a stressful period, if you’re not sleeping well or if you suffer from heartburn, constipation…
Ok, raise your hand if any of these applies to you! Well, chances are that your gut health is already out of balance.
Yes, it’s not news that a lot of people with kidney issues have altered gut flora.
What you may not know, is that having unhealthy gut can even damage the kidneys.
Because it’s harder to improve kidney function when your body cannot properly assimilate vitamins and micronutrients from foods.
Also, when there aren’t enough good bacteria in the gut, those missing bacteria are going to be replaced by other, potentially dangerous bacteria.
This will greatly increase the chance of infections.
Now some good news: taking care of your gut health may be easier than you think.
Always more nephrologists are starting to recommend probiotic supplements to their patients.
The reason is clear: there are studies indicating that consumption of probiotic supplements may not just help with gut health issues, help lower blood sugar levels and improve immunity.
Having a healthy gut flora may even help boosting your kidney health!
And there’s one product, in particular, that I think is really interesting for us.
Renadyl, the only probiotic dietary supplement designed specifically for people with kidney problems.
It contains special probiotic strains, selected and grown under uremic conditions.
This means that the bacteria in this supplement are actually going to process and consume the toxins your kidneys cannot properly remove.
It’s the only supplement that can do this.
And I’m talking especially about uremic toxins, urea, uric acid and creatinine.
Basically, these toxins that are burdening your kidneys will be processed by the bacteria present in this probiotic and then excreted during your normal bowel movements.
Which is great in my opinion, because this can be a way to detox your kidneys.
Now, Renadyl is not a prescription drug, it’s just a supplement.
And while the probiotic strains in it are Generally Recognized As Safe by the FDA, as usual my recommendation is to consult your doctor before taking anything new.
But I’ve seen personally that taking Renadyl can give people an improved quality of life, no more digestive problems and, in some cases, even a stabilization of kidney function.
Wouldn’t that be great?
Actually, some of you guys answered my post about Renadyl to tell me that you started using it and that it’s already helping.
For example, there’s this comment I want to read you.
thank you very much for letting me know about Renadyl, I’ve started it one month ago with the approval of my doctor and I’m already feeling better! Can’t wait to see if it has helped my kidney function.
Thank you for letting me know about this! That’s great news!
And this comment is from Tony Deschamp, he’s one of my subscribers, as we can see from the badge near his name
Katherine, I am very excited to let you know that my kidneys are doing a lot better now!
I’m following you regularly and I follow ALL your advice! I think you may have changed my life!
I’ve also started taking Renadyl and I think it really helped!
Today I’m really happy because I just got the following results
Urea up from 10.80 to 11.80
Creatinine down from 144 to 126
eGFR up from 31 to 36!
This is a great improvement for me and I couldn’t be more proud of myself!
Wow, that’s amazing! You have every right to be proud of yourself! Keep doing what you’re doing, because it’s working!
Ok, guys, now, if you want to try Renadyl, there’s a discount going on right now, check the link in description to know more!
Time for our third step now!
This is really important.
Third step IS
take care of your mind.
The idea here is that starting every day with a positive, optimist mindset is your best ally in fighting kidney problems.
And this may be even more effective than you think.
let’s just say that in the last years, I’ve met several people who were able to achieve what many consider impossible: getting an improvement in kidney function.
and all of them had one thing in common: they were able to see over the issue. To look at the solution, rather than at the problem, with a positive mindset.
But I don’t want to just tell you this, I want to show it to you.
This is a comment from one of you guys following me here on 00kidney.
And I think it can be a great inspiration for us.
I was diagnosed in stage 4
The physical suffering was no match with the emotional and mental anguish I felt during that time.
Like many of you, I was told that kidneys don’t heal.
Then I chanced upon Katherine’s channel.
The feeling that there’s hope after all the advice that I will not be well was overwhelming.
I started working out in the gym, walk to work every day instead of taxiing, dropped my caffeine input, cancelled all alcohol, finally gave up smoking and started supplementing as suggested here.
Today, based from my last laboratory, my CREA is down by 25 points and my RBC went up to 13 points.
I increased my energy level; sometimes I still feel energized at night after hours of working and driving to and from the office.
I haven’t felt like this in years!
Thank you very much Sara Thompson for sharing this, I’m very confident your story can inspire many of us here!
So guys, what I wanted to tell you by reading this comment is that you CAN beat this terrifying disease.
it requires a lot of will power and strength to overcome kidney problems,
but when a kidney patient decides to fight for their own health, to seriously take matters into their own hands, there’s nothing they can’t do.
So, if you can find the strength to give up bad habits, alcohol and smoking, like Sara did and to start empowering your morning as the best part of the day, the results will be amazing.
For example, find a way to exercise or to walk first thing in the morning, if you can!
Light exercising is not just incredibly healthy and beneficial for your overall health.
It’s good for your mind too.
And, most of all, remember that if you have kidney problems, you should never lose hope.
There’s still hope even if you’re in stage 5.
Ok, guys, a new video is coming next Friday as usual, and it’s going to be about the powerful herbal remedies known as adaptogens.
It’s going to be interesting, don’t miss it!
In the meantime, keep taking good care of your kidneys and be good to yourself.
This is all for today, thank you for watching!
