Watch on Youtube

Hello, this is Katherine, welcome to 00kidney.
Today I’ll show you the top 10 best home remedies, supplements and herbs to repair your kidneys and to lower your creatinine levels fast.
Due to the recent events, your journey to beat kidney disease may have become even harder than it already was.
But, on the bright side, the home remedies I have with me here today are some of the most powerful you can use to repair and to cleanse your kidneys.
And I bet you never heard about many of them. Yes, there are several hidden gems in here, incredibly powerful herbs no one ever talks about.
Most of these home remedies are new, these aren’t things I’ve talked about before, so even if you have watched all my previous video, this one is still going to be really interesting.
Because there are people who were able to greatly improve their kidney health thanks to the right combination of renal diet, lifestyle and supplementation.
We have seen many inspiring success stories here on 00kidney, but there’s a comment I want to read you… it is somewhat special

This is from a user called Betta.
She says.

Thank you, miss Katherine, your channel and your book helped me a lot.
My kidney problem is now starting to get better and my doctor want to take off the drugs.
Your book helped tremendously, before even reading it all I started to try some of the kidney friendly meals suggested by the author and I’ve bought some of the supplements he recommends.
I have done all that you have said to do and my DR. has been surprised at how fast the renal failure has gone into remission.
I was so scared before finding your channel but now I’m happy because I feel I can win this disease or at least fight back.
The diet was and still is the biggest challenge but I’m getting better at it.
Thank you for recommending the program and for all you’re doing.

Hi Betta, thank you very much, I’m really really glad for your recovery.
And, by the way, if you guys want to try the program to beat kidney disease, there’s a link in description.
Because you can fight kidney disease and you can beat it, if you have the right weapons.
Like the 10 home remedies to lower creatinine of today’s video.
Let’s see what they are.

Our number 10 is something not a lot of people know about, with some really powerful benefits for your kidneys and your heart.
Number 10 is…

Coenzyme Q10, also known as CoQ10, is a compound that helps generate energy in your cells.
This substance is similar to a vitamin and is found in every cell of the body.
It’s used to produce energy for cell growth and maintenance.
It also functions as an antioxidant which protects the kidneys and body from damage caused by harmful substances.
But, most of all, it has been shown to help improve heart health and blood sugar regulation.
And this is great if you want to repair your kidneys.
Remember that heart problems are really frequent and diabetes is the number one cause of kidney disease.
Now, today I have 10 home remedies here with me. And while they all are very beneficial and can help you solve many problems correlated to kidney disease, for sure I’m not going to tell you to take them all, right? That wouldn’t be wise.
No. I will show you exactly what supplements can help you the most, based on your stage of kidney disease, your age, your other conditions… so you can focus on what actually works best for you.
So, should kidney patients consider CoQ10 supplementation?
Since CoQ10 production decreases with age, seniors are those who are going to benefit more from taking CoQ10.
Yes, this one becomes more useful the older you get.
The recommended dose of CoQ10 is 200 to 600mg per day.
You can find this supplement on Amazon or from your favorite stores, there are several brands selling it in different dosages.
I’ve made a page in my website newhopeforkidneypatients dot com with links to some trusted sellers on amazon, if you have troubles finding it.
The link to the page is in description.
As always, talk to your doctor before starting anything new.

Time for our Number 9!
This home remedy is something really controversial. It’s an herb from Ayurveda. This ancient way of healing is widely used in India today and has given the world some amazing home remedies.
It is…

This really easy to find and inexpensive home remedy has some very powerful properties.
Cilantro has been used for thousands of years to fight infections, soothe skin rashes, improve digestion and to detox and heal the kidneys.
And there are studies proving that Cilantro is actually useful to repair your kidneys.
These studies were published in very respectable papers, like the “Journal of Ethnopharmacology” and the “Journal of Food Science”
These studies showed that cilantro can be used to detox the kidneys, maybe as a part of a kidney cleanse.
Cilantro is easy to grow, which helps to explain its abundance. It is a hardy annual herb and a member of the parsley family, related to other lacy-leaved plants such as fennel, dill, chervil and carrots.
With some planning and routine, cilantro can grow all season long.
And this is what makes it so easy to find.
Question, who should take it? Cilantro is one of the best home remedies for a kidney cleanse.
It is especially useful to get the kidneys clean from heavy metals.
So, consider it if you want to do a cleanse.
Now, if you liked this video so far, if you find it useful, consider sharing it with anyone you know who suffers from kidney disease or is on dialysis. This can help them too!

Our number 8 is a plant that has been used for centuries due to its medicinal properties and health benefits.
Very common in Asia and South America.
It is…

Moringa oleifera is a plant that is often called the drumstick tree, the miracle tree, the ben oil tree, or the horseradish tree.
Moringa also has antifungal, antiviral, antidepressant, and anti-inflammatory properties.
The tree is native to India but also grows in Asia, Africa, and South America.
It’s known as Malunggay in the Philippines, where it should be easily available.
By the way I wanted to say hi to all you guys watching me from the Philippines.
Kumusta po kayo? Comment kayo kung pinapanood nyo ako from the Philippines. Salamat sap ag suporta at God bless.
Back to Moringa.
It has some very interesting benefits for people with kidney disease. These include:
– Treating anemia. This is a very common complication of kidney disease, cause of fatigue. Moringa can help a person’s body absorb more iron, therefore increasing their red blood cell count and fighting anemia and fatigue.
– Treating edema
The anti-inflammatory properties of moringa may be effective in reducing edema.
– Treating diabetes
Moringa helps to reduce the amount of glucose in the blood, as well as sugar and protein in the urine. This improved the hemoglobin levels and overall protein content in those tested.
– Protecting against kidney disorders
People may be less likely to develop stones in the kidneys, bladder or uterus if they ingest moringa extract. Moringa contains high levels of antioxidants that might aid toxicity levels in the kidneys.
There have been very few side effects reported.
But remember that if you’re starting a supplement to lower your blood pressure or your blood sugar, like Moringa, you should consult your doctor.
And monitor your levels very carefully.
Because the aim here is to repair your kidneys, remember?
And, yes, these home remedies can help you achieve that, if you include them in a healthy way of living.
But lowering your medications is even more useful, and you need your doctor to do that for you, right?
So, monitor your blood pressure and blood sugar very carefully and talk to your doctor.

Our next home remedy is an herb extract that’s as powerful in lowering blood sugar levels as the most used medications.

Number 7 Berberine
Have you ever heard of it?
See I told you there were going to be some hidden gems.
What is Berberine and why is it interesting?
Berberine is a bioactive substance extracted from certain plants.
It isn’t well known but maybe it’s one of the most powerful supplements on Earth.
It provides various health benefits but is particularly effective at lowering blood sugar levels.
These effects are thought to be due to numerous mechanisms. In particular, berberine is believed to reduce glucose production in your liver and improve insulin sensitivity.
Studies show that taking berberine can lower blood sugar levels to a similar extent as the popular diabetes drug metformin.
In a study on people with type 2 diabetes, the substance reduced fasting blood sugar levels and HbA1c (a marker for long-term blood sugar levels) by 20%.
These are incredible numbers, knowing that we’re talking about an herbal remedy, right?
And it’s not all.
Berberine is also very effective at improving other health markers.
It lowers triglyceride and blood pressure levels, as well as total and LDL (bad) cholesterol, which may reduce your risk of heart disease.
Berberine has also been shown to have antibacterial effects and may protect against heart failure and cancer.
Yes, an impressive list of benefits.
So, who should take it? As we have seen, this is absolutely great for people with diabetic kidney disease, especially those in the early stages of CKD.
So absolutely consider it if this describes you.
As always, talk to your healthcare provider before starting using this supplement. This is especially important for supplements with properties similar to those of the medicines you’re already taking.

Number 6

Gum Arabic. Also known as Acacia fiber and Acacia Gum. This is the sap of the Acacia Senegal tree, a plant native to parts of Africa, Pakistan, and India.
But why is it interesting for us?
Since this home remedy is particularly rich in soluble fiber, it offers a number of health benefits.
It is known to help with Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Weight Management, Liver Health and, most of all,
There are preliminary studies showing that it can help with high cholesterol, diabetes and high blood pressure.
And while these studies were just performed on mice, personally, I wouldn’t be surprised if these results will be repeatable on humans.
the reason is that it is a source of fiber. People need a lot more fiber than they usually get, right?
Meeting these needs for this essential nutrient is known to be really beneficial for the health of the kidneys.
Widely available for purchase online, acacia powder is sold in many natural-foods stores. Typically sold in powder form, acacia fiber is also available in tablet, capsule, or gum form. It’s found in food products such as breakfast cereals, grain-based bars, and baked goods.
So, should kidney disease patients use this remedy?
While further research is needed to find out whether acacia can help treat various conditions, getting enough soluble fiber in your diet can promote health and protect against heart disease and diabetes.
Besides acacia, soluble fiber is found in such foods as oatmeal, nuts, apples, barley, beans, and blueberries and more.
So, consider this supplement if your diet is not particularly rich in these foods or in fiber in general.

Number 5
Ok, what do I have here? Oh, right, this is the favorite of athletes and bodybuilder.

Whey protein.
But wait, don’t just go away right now, there’s a lot more about whey protein than meets the eye.
And, for some kidney patients, this supplement can be really helpful.
Why is that? Let’s see what the benefits of whey protein are.
– Whey is an Excellent Source of High-Quality Protein. Now, kidney patients usually need very little protein in their diet. I say usually because when you’re on dialysis you definitely need more.
But everyone needs protein and getting it from a high-quality source is really helpful for the health of your kidneys. Remember that supplementation is all about giving your kidneys all the nutrients they need.
Also let’s consider the other benefits of whey protein.
– Whey Protein May Lower Blood Pressure
– May Help Treat Type 2 Diabetes
– May Help Reduce Inflammation
Now, looking at these benefits you may be tempted to get a pack of these and start adding whey to your diet.
But, who actually needs to use this supplement?
Kidney patients not on dialysis usually need just 10% of their daily caloric intake from protein. That’s not much.
Patients on dialysis, on the other hand, need a lot more. So, they are going to get more benefits from this supplement.
But you can also use whey to replace some less healthy sources of protein in your diet, like meat or dairy. This would still be useful.

Number 4 is a supplement probably everyone took at least once. It’s what’s supposed to prevents the common cold, improve your sight and even prevent cancer.
I’m talking about

Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C)
But are all those claims true? And, most important, do you need vitamin C if you have kidney disease?
Let’s… see!
Vitamin C is used to keep many different types of tissue healthy. It also helps wounds and bruises heal faster and may help prevent infections.
Vitamin C is a powerful antioxidant that can strengthen your body’s natural defenses.
And, most of all, if you don’t get enough of it from food, you can have serious health problems, like scurvy. But scurvy is a pretty rare disease, actually.
So, who should take it? Do you need vitamin C supplements as a kidney disease patient?
Vitamin C supplements are recommended in a small dose for most kidney disease patients.
YES, vitamin C is good for you, but in lower quantities than what you find in most supplements.
This is why you should take a supplement specifically made for kidney patients, like this one.
The usual dose for kidney patients is 60-100 mg/day.

Ok, we’re in the top 3 now. These remedies are the most powerful, watch this part VERY carefully.

Our number 3 is a very peculiar mushroom. It is a genus of parasitic fungi, technically, and it grows on the larvae of insects. But how does it help our kidneys?
Number 3

A remedy that has been used for over 4000 years in China and that is now becoming popular even in Europe and in the US, thanks to several new studies proving its benefits.
Cordyceps, also known as Chinese caterpillar fungus, are very particular mushrooms with a lot of potential for people with kidney disease.
Cordyceps have very interesting properties in fighting inflammation, fighting tumors, in reducing fatigue and boosting strength and sex drive.
Cordyceps also contain a special type of sugar that may help treat diabetes.
This type of sugar mimics the action of insulin, keeping blood sugar levels within a healthy range.
And there is also evidence about these claims, since numerous studies are being performed today on this surprising remedy.
And what about kidney disease?
In a review of 22 studies on cordyceps, almost 1000 patients were found to have significantly lowered their creatinine levels with the use of cordyceps.
Now, these patients were not on dialysis and were still following the prescribed therapies for kidney disease.
So, these patients greatly reduced their creatinine levels, reduced proteinuria and also hemoglobin and serum albumin levels.
This basically means an all-around improvement in kidney health and kidney function.
While I was reading these numbers, I was almost jumping around for the happiness.
I mean, this remedy could be not just promising, it could be a life changer for a lot of people with kidney disease.
The only problem with all these researches is that, while cordyceps are a very ancient remedy, scientists started to carefully study them just recently. And these studies take years to produce significant results.
So, today, these results aren’t still conclusive.
Therefore, no final, scientific conclusions could be made about the effects of Cordyceps on kidney function in people with chronic kidney disease.
Still, a lot of people are already using cordyceps while the studies on these ancient remedies go on.
Cordyceps are in fact already approved in some countries for the treatment of arrhythmia, a cardiac condition.
and are also approved in the US by the FDA, so they are considered safe.
This means that you can already find them on the shelves, or on Amazon, since they are basically considered supplements and have no significant side effects.
The dosage commonly used in human research is 1,000-3,000 mg per day.
If you want to try cordyceps or any other innovative remedy, be sure to talk to your doctor first.

Our number 2 has been used as a medicinal herb in India for thousands of years.
It’s so effective that it has been compared to anti-inflammatory drugs in some studies – without any major side effects.

Number 2 turmeric

Turmeric is a popular spice known for giving curry its yellow color.
It has been used as a medicinal herb in India for thousands of years.
Turmeric contains curcumin, a powerful substance that has been studied thoroughly in recent years.
Curcumin fights inflammation.
It’s so effective that it has been compared to anti-inflammatory drugs in some studies – without any major side effects.
For example, in a study in 45 people with rheumatoid arthritis, 500 mg of curcumin per day was more effective than a common anti-inflammatory drug.
Nevertheless, curcumin is poorly absorbed, so it’s best to get a supplement that also contains piperine/bioperine, which has been shown to enhance its absorption by 2,000%.
I use it a lot, basically anyone can benefit from these properties, not just kidney disease patients.
These supplements are widely available in health stores and online.

Finally, our number 1!
One of the healthiest supplements, and not just for kidney patients. Proven to be an effective way of reducing bad cholesterol and to improve your heart health.
Before I’ll show you our number one, remember that supplements can help, but you need to know EXACTLY what to take, when and why.
This is why I’m showing you this program.
Just like Betta, from our comment before, people are getting all the information they need to improve their kidney function and lower their creatinine from this program.
It was made by an Australian doctor that helped thousands of people with kidney disease.
As a bonus, you can even get a free consultation with him.
I’m leaving a link here if you want to know more.
And our number 1 for today is…

Omega 3 fatty acids!
They have been shown, during several clinical trials, to reduce high blood pressure, to decrease bad cholesterol and to greatly improve your overall health.
Watch this video now if you want to know everything about omega 3.
